This year Felicity continues to exercise her passionate interest in social history. Previously she has presented fully-illustrated talks on Victorian photographer Thomas Ravenscroft, da Vinci’s mysterious Mona Lisa, and the intriguing subject of the history of food. Felicity’s new subject for a Fynarts 2017 is a presentation that revolves around portraiture and some fascinating revelations about the subjects of famous portraits. A retired business consultant whose grandfather was a Viennese violinist, conductor and composer, she is a widely travelled Capetonian. Felicity is obsessively interested in old and new facts, is a compulsive researcher, fond of fine wines, good biographies, extra-ordinary people and of living near the sea path at Vermont.
