This year a French theme runs through Hermanus FynArts’ programme. An artist and two chefs, out from France especially for FynArts, will add French chic to the 2016 ‘Connection’. Louis Jansen van Vuuren, the festival artist will offer two one-day painting workshops, a painting demonstration and an evening of poetry. Chef Thierry Finet and Hardy Olivier will prepare the gourmet dinner at Benguela Manor, as well as present two cookery demos. All of the recipes they use will be based on the newly launched book: A story of a house; Fables and Feasts from La Cruezette, the home of Louis and Hardy.
