This year seven primary schools will take part in the first choir celebration in Greater Hermanus. Curro, Generation, Hawston Primary, Hermanus Primary, Lukhanyo Primary, Waldorf and Zwelihle Primary will each celebrate the joy of singing together.
Although not a competition each school will receive feedback from adjudicators. The order of performances will be announced via a newsletter and social media. The final item will be a choir comprising a few learners from each choir and joined by well-known local tenor, Luvo Maranti, currently studying at the UCT School of Opera.
Choirs will change throughout the morning. Audience members are therefore welcome to arrive or leave between items.
