A French Connection
The 2015 innovation of acknowledging the contribution of one country to the arts as well as to the South African way of life will continue through the 2016 programme. French will be the fine thread that runs through the events, from talks to demonstrations; from art to food and wine; and from the contribution of individuals and milestone events.
The full programme – running from 10 – 19 June 2016 – is being finalised and we should be able to share much of it with you within the next month. Festival goers will be able to book both online through our website or directly through any Web Tickets outlet. More details of this will follow when tickets go on sale by late March. Do sign up to our newsletter so that we can notify you as soon as Early Bird ticket sales are launched.
The venues for Hermanus FynArts showcase the wide range of what Hermanus has to offer – from local art galleries and church halls in the town centre to wine farms up the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Don’t wait for Hermanus FynArts to visit the wine farms along the valley and the galleries on the Hermanus Art Amble. Better still, why not visit Hermanus First Fridays and Night of 1 000 drawings on Friday 4th December for a bumper late night of browsing, shopping and socialising. The Art Amble galleries are also planning something special for First Fridays 3 June 2016 – but more of that later.
