Dear FynArts supporter,

Be sure to be in Hermanus during 5-16 June 2020 for our FynArts festival that continues to grow with turns, twists and treats. The festival booklet will be launched early in 2020. In the meantime, our newsletters will update you on the who, what and where of the FynArts festival over the next couple of months.

On behalf of the Management Committee I again thank all our sponsors, supporters, staff, volunteers and the media for the growing success of the FynArts festival and for your continued support. We are now enthusiastically planning ahead for next years festival.

We are very pleased to announce that the tondi art competition will again be generously sponsored by Tollman Bouchard Finlayson – for the seventh consecutive year. The competition is one of the highlights of our festival where the artworks of finalists are displayed on barrelheads of award-winning barrels of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in a unique setting of the Bouchard Finlayson Vineyard and Winery.

The theme for the 2020 competition is Biomimicry – design inspiration from nature. Click here for details and rules about the competition.

As much as FynArts depends on you as festival goers, the future of the festival also depend on continued and increased financial backing. In the months ahead we will intensify our efforts to grow membership of our Friends of FynArts (annual, life-time and corporate). The broadening of our sponsorship base will ensure the continued offering of a sustainable FynArts festival.
